I grew up in Freeland and graduated from Hereford High school. My wife and two daughters are also Hereford graduates. I have always been intrigued by architecture, statistics, and researching/analyzing markets, so a career in real estate was probably a fit before I even knew it. After graduating Winthrop University in South Carolina with a degree in Mathematics, I parlayed my interests into a real estate appraiser’s license. I have worked as a certified appraiser in Maryland for the last 25 years. Additionally, in the past ten years, I have assembled a team that takes on investment properties in the Baltimore Metro market. Now, I am focused on counseling buyers and sellers through the real estate market with my unique perspective and experience as an appraiser and investor.
Outside of real estate I spend as much time as I can with my wife and our kids when they are home from college. I coach Cross Country and Outdoor Track at Hereford, which lends itself well to my love for running and hiking. I aspire to travel more to see new places and experience new cultures.
Favorite Place Visited… Chianciano, Italy. The quintessential Tuscan hillside town where our Italian friends take us in and treat us like family.
Secret Hidden Talent… Miniature golf ringer.
I’d rather be… Sharing stories with family/friends while playing cards or a board game.
Quirky Interest… Birding. Think Steve Martin in “The Big Year” only not nearly as well funded and much more casual. Also pairs well with hiking.
Totem Animal… Pelican. No real reason other than they draw my attention every time I spot them skimming over the ocean waves or dive bomb fishing.
